Singaporean Chinese Family with 2 children and a lovely dog

We are seeking a dedicated and cheerful Domestic Helper to join our family as soon as possible. Our beloved helper, who has been with us for 7 years, has recently returned home, and we are looking for someone to fill this important role.

Your role will be vital to our family, and we hope to find a committed individual who will be treated as part of our household. The ideal candidate must be proficient in English, possess patience, and show proactivity in bonding with our children. A strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness is essential, as is a genuine love for dogs.

We are a local Chinese family of four, consisting of two adults and two children, an 8-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, along with our medium-sized young dog (a poodle cross). We now stay in a condo with 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms, where the helper will have a private room. But please note that we are moving to a 2 storey condo in Dec.

We would prefer to conduct face-to-face interviews at our home and are open to considering candidates of all nationalities under the age of 35. Compensation will be discussed based on your experience, and you will enjoy Sundays and some public holidays off.

Below is a brief overview of the job responsibilities:

• Dog Care: Feed the dog once daily, take it for 3-4 walks for bathroom breaks, brush its hair and teeth daily, and give a shower once a week.
• Grocery Shopping and Cooking: Able to do grocery shopping and cook meals independently, primarily dinner for the family and occasionally lunch on weekends. Experience in both Chinese and Western cooking is preferred.
• Childcare: Wake the children in the morning and prepare breakfast for the whole family. Occasionally assist in fetching the kids from school or the bus stop.
• Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleaning, laundry, and ironing. Take the initiative to keep the house tidy, clean, and organized.
