Hi - we’re looking for a new helper. Sharing below the job scope that we drafted, for your reference: We are seeking an energetic, and responsible Helper to join our family of 5, including a newborn and two school-age children (5.5 and 3.5yrs old). The role combines childcare and household management responsibilities in our 5-bedroom, two-story home. Primary Responsibilities: Childcare: • Provide attentive care for newborn including feeding, changing, and napping routines • After school care for older children 2.30-5pm: Supervise after-school play/activities • Organise/attend playdates when relevant and accompany older children to activities when required Household Management: • Plan and prepare simple family dinners (Weekdays mostly and sometimes we cook too) • Perform daily housekeeping duties including cleaning, tidying, and organizing • Manage laundry for the entire family • Maintain cleanliness and organization of living spaces • Keep kitchen and common areas sanitized and orderly • Run errands only once in a while (such as grocery shopping, marketing, etc.)this is mostly done by us via Redmart or Wet Market weekly. Required Qualifications: • Experience or recent training to care for newborns and school-age children • Good cooking skills / willing to learn/follow recipes • Physical ability to handle household tasks and childcare • Good handle of English Desired Qualities: • Warm, nurturing personality with genuine love for children • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail • Strong communication skills • Reliable and punctual • Clean, neat, and professional appearance • Patient and energetic • Proactive problem-solver, takes initiative Schedule: • Sundays off – although Occasional Sunday availability may be required (and will be compensated) Benefits: • Health insurance • Annual performance review and salary adjustment • Public holidays off • 1x paid home leave Working Conditions: • Two-story, 5-bedroom home • Non-smoking household • Friendly French-Dutch family no pets for now
