British-German family with two small kids looking for helper

Hello, we are a British-German family of four who recently moved to Abu Dhabi.

We are looking for a friendly and reliable nanny/housekeeper to help us with our two children (3 year old girl and 18 month old boy). Both kids will go to school/nursery for most of the week.

We are looking for someone who can provide practical support and playtime with the children as required, as well as someone who can keep the house clean, tidy and organised. This would include cleaning, laundry, ironing and similar tasks. Cooking will not be a main task, however we might require you to occasionally prepare a nutritious meal for the children when we parents are out, or a family meal once a week or so.

Help with the kids would include helping getting them ready in the morning/help with lunchbox prep, drop-offs or pick-ups from nursery/school as required (this is within walking distance of our house), playtime, help with them after school/in the evenings where needed, and occasional babysitting when they are asleep.

Depending on experience we offer a salary of 3000-3500AED, but we are flexible and will always reward good work. We live in a friendly and open villa community with many other nannies and housekeepers around. Our helper will have their own room and bathroom and of course all meals will be provided.

We would love to find someone to build a loving, long term relationship with our children and who will enjoy sharing their culture with them. The children are great fun, kind and inquisitive. They enjoy active play and we are trying to keep them away from screens as much as possible, so we value time drawing and playing with them. We are very much looking for someone to act as an additional helper, we love spending time with them and are not looking to 'outsource' their care.
