Hello, my name is Mercelita, but you can call me Mercy. I'm 55 years old and currently in Hong Kong and I've been working as a caregiver for an elderly family member for almost two years now, and my contract will finish on September 26, 2026. I'm looking for a new employer. Before this, I was taking care of elderly people in Tuen Mun. My responsibilities included helping with baths, feeding, changing diapers, providing medicine, assisting with a wheelchair, doing marketing, cooking, washing cars, cutting hair, and taking them to the hospital. I've been doing this kind of work in Hong Kong since 2016, so I have a total of about 10 years of experience here. Before coming to Hong Kong, I worked in other countries. I spent seven years in Qatar, where my duties included ironing, car washing, cooking, cleaning, and gardening. I also have more experience from my home country the Philippines, where I worked as a security guard, factory worker, and maid for a foreigner from Papua New Guinea for six years.
