Hello, my name is Rachel, I'm 49 years old, and I'm a single mother. I started working abroad in 1999 in Singapore. When I joined that family, the baby was just 13 months old, and a few months later, they welcomed another baby. My main job was to take care of the little ones — giving them baths, reading with them — while also cleaning the house, cooking, and doing the grocery shopping. I worked there from 1999 to 2001.

In 2002, I decided to move to Hong Kong for work. My first employer was from 2002 to 2004. I took care of a 6-year-old girl and a newborn baby. I took the older girl to school and picked her up, as well as managing house cleaning, cooking, and shopping. My second employer was from 2004 to 2006. This time, I looked after a 14-month-old baby and a newborn, while also keeping up with cleaning, cooking, and marketing. Then, from 2006 to 2008, I worked for my third employer, taking care of a 5-year-old boy and another newborn. I also helped with school runs, cleaning, cooking, and shopping. My fourth employer was from 2008 until recently. I helped with two kids, ages 12 and 9, preparing their meals and supporting their activities. I also took care of their grandparents, checking their blood pressure and blood sugar every morning, giving them their medicine, and making sure they were well. Along with all this, I continued with cleaning, cooking, shopping, pet care, and even washing the car. I’m a hardworking person, honest and respectful. I listen well to instructions and I'm very willing to learn.
