Hi, I’m Girlie. I’m 33 years old. My journey hasn’t been easy because this is my first time working abroad as a domestic helper in Hong Kong, and it’s also my first time being away from my family. But once I got to Hong Kong and met my new family (my employer), I found it easy to adjust thanks to their support; they treated me like a member of their family. I’ve worked in Hong Kong for 4 years as a domestic helper with two different employers. I would describe myself as honest, trustworthy, patient, loving, eager to learn, and hard-working.
