My first experience balancing work and responsibility began as a working student. Juggling my studies and work taught me to be disciplined, organized, and dependable. It also helped me become adaptable and confident in managing different responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude.

In 2024, I had the opportunity to support a private family with their daily household routine. I provided childcare by creating a safe, caring, and fun environment for the children. I enjoyed spending quality time with them through play, helping with their daily routines, preparing simple meals and snacks, and encouraging good habits. I believe that children learn best when they feel loved, respected, and supported, so I always tried to be patient, attentive, and someone they could feel comfortable with.

Alongside childcare, I also cared for the family's pets by feeding them, making sure they had fresh water, taking them for walks when needed, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and understand that they are important members of the family.

I was also happy to lend a hand with everyday household tasks. I assisted with cleaning, laundry, organizing the home, grocery shopping, and preparing simple home-cooked meals. I believe that helping with these responsibilities creates a more comfortable home for everyone and allows the family to spend more quality time together.

Being part of a family's daily life taught me the importance of kindness, patience, flexibility, and initiative. I always strive to be someone a family can rely on—not only by completing my responsibilities but also by bringing warmth, respect, and a positive attitude into their home. As an au pair, I hope to become more than just a helper. I look forward to building a genuine connection with my host family, sharing cultures, creating happy memories with the children, and becoming a trusted member of the family throughout my stay.
