Marie Lou

I’m Marie Lou, I’m 42 years old and from the Philippines. I’ve spent 13 years working with one family in Hong Kong. When I started, they had 3 adults and 2 kids; the youngest was just 5 months old, and the oldest was 2. Both of my employers worked full time, and I was lucky to have a really kind grandmother in the house. She helped me a lot with taking care of the children. Grandma would go to the market to buy food and cook, and I usually assisted her in the kitchen. For the other household chores like cleaning, washing, ironing, and looking after the kids, that was mainly my responsibility. Thanks to Grandma being so nice, my daily life felt simple and pleasant. As a helper, I’m dedicated, honest, and kind. I always make sure everything is in order before I go to bed. I took care of the children as they grew up; in the mornings, I’d iron their uniforms and prepare breakfast. Once everyone left for the day, I’d focus on the household chores and also take care of their two cats. It’s been the same routine for 13 years, but I feel happy and content with my work. I’m hoping to find a new family that’s kind, caring, and also loves pets. Thank you for considering me!
