Myla

Hi, I am Myla, 46 years old and a single mom with two kids. I've been a Foreign Domestic Helper in Hong Kong for about 9 and a half years. During this time, I took care of a family with two adults and two children. My main responsibilities included childcare, keeping the house clean, doing laundry, cooking, shopping for groceries, and making sure everyone was safe. I also enjoyed playing with the kids and helping them with their learning activities.

Before that, I worked in Taiwan for 6 years, taking care of three different elderly clients. For the first three years, I cared for an elderly man, helping him with everything he needed like bathing, feeding, giving him his medicines, and taking him to hospital check-ups and physical therapy. I also made sure he got outside for a daily walk in the park. The second person I cared for was an elderly woman. I spent time with her, helping her with her daily routines, like exercising and going for walks, along with doing laundry and a bit of house cleaning. Sadly, she passed away, and I had to move to another client. My last client was another elderly woman, where my tasks included helping her bathe, eat, doing laundry, cooking meals, and taking her to her medical appointments, ensuring she was safe and comfortable at all times.

I'm a hardworking, trustworthy, patient, and flexible person. I adapt well to new situations and am always willing to learn and improve according to what my employer needs.
