British family looking for a reliable helper

We are a Western family with kids based in HK Island seeking a live-in domestic helper who can support our household on multiple fronts. • Proactive and self-motivated

• Uses her own judgement to make independent decisions, without being specifically told what to look for or what to do

• Exceptionally detail-oriented and quality-focused

• Professional, discreet, and respectful in all interactions

• “No-drama” personality—calm, positive, and solution-oriented

• Takes pride in highest standard of work, cleanliness and organization

• We are screen-free family, so we expect no phone usage during working hours

• Punctual, reliable, and consistently dependable

• Comfortable multitasking and able to manage priorities effectively

• Open and receptive to feedback, learning from it and improving continuously

Must have skills/know-how/experience:

• Able to manage household tasks efficiently without supervision (cleaning, laundry and ironing, shopping, cooking)

• Sees things that are not right or need doing without being told specifically

• Maintains exceptionally high cleaning standards

• Enjoys cooking and is eager to learn new recipes

• Loves children and creates a positive, engaging environment.

• Skilled at coordinating pre-planned activities and proactively develops new engagements that are age-appropriate (child is currently 3 years old)

• Anticipates needs and acts proactively without waiting to be asked (stays ahead of the known family schedule)

• Previous job experience on HK island - at least 2 full contracts (4 years) with one family

• References from previous employers required.
