Helper Profile – Direct Transfer (April Start)

We are a family of five living in a 3-bedroom condo in the East Coast area—husband, wife, our 2.5-year-old daughter, and two dogs aged 10 and 5. Our daughter attends pre-school, and we are very hands-on parents. My husband works four days from the office while I work three days from the office, and we will be home to support on work-from-home days and off days. We are looking for a helper who can support our home—not replace us as primary caregivers.

Role Overview

This is not a full-time childcare role. The main focus of the job is to support our household with cooking and general home management, with some support for our child and dogs when needed.

Main Responsibilities

1. Cooking – Very Important to Us

• Cook daily meals for the family

• Be proactive in planning meals; we will also support by sharing recipes and teaching new dishes

• Enjoy cooking and be keen to try new dishes

2. Household Chores

• General cleaning and tidying

• Laundry and ironing

• Grocery shopping and basic household errands

• Keeping the home clean, organised, and well-managed

3. Childcare Support (Not Primary Caregiver)

• Drop off and pick up our daughter from pre-school as and when needed

• Prepare and feed her lunch/snacks and tuck her in for her afternoon nap on days we are at work

• Be attentive, calm, and responsible when caring for her

4. Dog Care

• Be comfortable around dogs and handling them

• Walk the dogs when needed

• Be careful and responsible while handling them

• We handle most walks and baths ourselves but may need support on certain days when we are stuck at work or travelling.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Truly enjoys cooking and can cook daily

• Is proactive about meal planning and recipe ideas

• Has experience handling young children and dogs

• Is very responsible and focused when caring for our child and dogs

• Is happy to support hands-on parents rather than take over childcare

• Is kind, patient, respectful, and discreet about family privacy

• Can manage time independently

• Communicates clearly and is open to feedback

• Is clean, organised, and detail-oriented

• Is diligent and trustworthy in all responsibilitieS

Requirements

• Direct transfer only

• Currently in Singapore

• Available for interview

• Available to start in April
