We are a South African & German family based in Deira, Dubai, seeking a highly experienced Filipina Cook & Housekeeper to join our household .
This role suits someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility within a high-standard home environment.
REQUIREMENTS:• Filipina• Age: 30-40• Currently based in Dubai• Own visa (required for trial period)• Previous UAE experience required• Experience working with Western families preferred• Strong cooking skills (daily healthy meals, meal planning, variety of dishes)• Experienced in caring for pets; we have an elderly French Bulldog requiring special attention and gentle care• Able to provide references from previous employers
NOTE: Cooking Skills (Very Important)We are specifically looking for someone confident and experienced in cooking.
You must be able to:
• Prepare healthy, well-balanced daily meals• Cook a variety of dishes (Western, simple European meals, Asian dishes, soups, salads, grilled meats, etc.)• Follow recipes accurately• Plan weekly menus when needed• Manage grocery lists and kitchen organization• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards• Cook independently without supervision
We appreciate someone who enjoys cooking, takes pride in presentation, and understands portion control and healthy meal preparation.
HOUSEHOLD DETAILS:• Location: Deira, Dubai• One 4-year-old child (childcare is secondary; there is a dedicated nanny)• One elderly small dog (special care required)• Live-in position (shared room with another Filipina nanny)• Weekly day off: Saturday
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:• Daily cooking and meal preparation• Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining high household standards• Managing deliveries and coordinating with suppliers• Supervising maintenance staff and external workers when required• Occasional childcare support• Assisting with attentive care of our elderly pet
