Hello everyone, thank you for giving me a chance to introduce myself. I’m Brenda, 36 years old, and I have one son and a husband. We live in the Philippines. I’m looking to apply as a domestic helper. My first job was for 2 years with a family of 4 that included a baby and an 8-year-old boy. My main duties were taking care of the baby while the parents were out. I also did marketing, laundry, and cooking — including making meals for the baby, helping with baths, feeding, playing, and teaching the baby how to speak and behave. In my second job, I worked for 7 months for a family of 3 with a 9-year-old boy. Unfortunately, my employer had health issues, which led to my termination. I think she may have also been feeling overwhelmed. My third job was with a family of 3 and their 8-year-old daughter. My main responsibilities included all the household work and taking the child to school. I had some personal issues with my own child at that time, but my employer was understanding since I was a single mother. They let me go home, but then the COVID pandemic started, so I couldn’t return to work. I was with my third employer for 1 year and 6 months. Thank you for listening!
